Sam Bhat, M.Eng. is a seasoned professional in the geotechnical and environmental containment sectors. Currently serving as the Chair of the Geosynthetics Division at The Canadian Geotechnical Society since January 2024, Sam has also held the position of Vice President of Global Business Development and Chief Technical Officer for Geosynthetics at Titan Environmental Containment Ltd since July 2012. Prior experience includes a role as International Business Manager at Tensar International Corporation from 1991 to 2006. Educational credentials include a Master of Technology in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
