Gerard Kevin Cagatan is a seasoned intellectual property professional with extensive experience in patent management and analysis. Currently serving as the Senior Intellectual Property Manager at CFL Flooring since August 2019, Gerard has previously held the position of Intellectual Property Engineer at Emerson from January 2019 to July 2019, where responsibilities included conducting market analysis and preparing patent watches. Prior experience as a Patent Analyst at Parola Analytics, Inc. involved complex patent research for various clients, including Fortune 100 companies. Gerard is advancing academic credentials with a Master of Intellectual Property Law and Management from the University of Strasbourg, and holds a Master of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University, along with a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the University of Santo Tomas.
