Omar Amaya is a highly experienced supply chain and procurement leader with over 30 years in the industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Supply Chain at Cervecería Regional since October 2012, Omar is responsible for strategic planning and logistics operations. Previously, Omar held the position of Vice President of Procurement at Cervecería Regional, overseeing procurement processes for various materials. Prior experience includes roles at Alfonzo Rivas & Cia as Purchasing Manager, and multiple positions at C.A. La Electricidad de Caracas, focusing on contracting services and supplier management. Omar holds an Industrial Engineering degree and advanced degrees in Business Administration and Economics, further complimented by an Advanced Management Program at IESA.
