Toby Mathew is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Cepheid since December 2021. Toby oversees a global information security program focused on risk-based strategies that enhance cyber maturity and reduce corporate risk. Previously, at Becton Dickinson & Co. from May 2000 to December 2021, Toby held several roles, culminating as Director of Information Security for Manufacturing and Supply Chain, where the operational technology cybersecurity program was managed. Other roles included Business Information Security Officer, Internal Audit IT Senior Manager, and Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance Team Lead. Toby began the career as a Network Engineer at Novartis and holds an M.S. in Telecommunications from Pace University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Alfred University.
