Jeff Smith has an extensive work experience in the field of Information Technology. Jeff currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Century Aluminum. Prior to this role, they worked as the Executive Director Global Information Technology, Director of Global IT Support Services, Global IT Infrastructure Manager, and Network Manager at Century Aluminum. Before joining Century Aluminum, Jeff was a Technical Project Manager at Bentley Systems. Jeff also served as an Information Systems Manager 3 at the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Jeff Smith received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Western Kentucky University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Jeff is currently pursuing a degree in Leadership Development at Harvard Business School since 2022.
