Catrina Salinas has a diverse work experience in various industries. Catrina started their career in 2004 at Firstmark Credit Union, where they held multiple roles and was eventually promoted to Assistant Vice President of Human Resources. In 2013, they joined Avnet Technology Solutions as a Human Resources Manager, providing strategic support to 450 employees. In 2016, Catrina moved to Xenex Disinfection Services, a start-up organization focused on reducing hospital-acquired infections, where they served as the Director of Human Resources. Currently, they are the Chief Talent Officer at Central Texas Food Bank, responsible for driving culture change, developing training plans, and leading organizational strategy. Additionally, in 2022, they temporarily assumed the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer at Central Texas Food Bank.
Catrina Salinas earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin from 1994 to 1998. Catrina further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University between 2006 and 2009.
