Joe Poisson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Joe'smost recent position was as the Content Lead at the Center of Workforce Innovations (CWI) starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Workshop Facilitator at CWI from December 2020 to August 2022. Joe also has self-employment experience as a Freelance Video Editor since May 2018. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Night Auditor at Holiday Inn Express. Before that, Joe held the position of On Air Promotion Manager at WPGH/WPNT from April 2014 to April 2018. Joe previously worked as a Promotions Producer at WSMH from July 2004 to April 2014 and as a Promotion Producer at KVWB/KFBT from August 1999 to May 2001.

Joe Poisson attended Marquette Senior High School from 1987 to 1989. Joe then went on to study Technical Theatre and Theatre Design and Technology at Northern Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in 1995.
