Christopher Hamel has dedicated a significant portion of their career to public service and education. Since September 2011, Christopher has served as an Energy Education Specialist for Spackenkill Union Free School District, focusing on monitoring energy use and promoting savings strategies within district buildings. Concurrently, Christopher has been a School Resource Officer and a member of the Patrol Division at Poughkeepsie Police Department since February 1990. In addition, Christopher volunteered for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New York from June 1991 to January 2013, where contributions included running in and coordinating the event. Christopher holds degrees from Western Connecticut State University and Marist College, obtained between 1986 and 2014.
