Chris Theophilides is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the cruise and shipping industries. Currently serving as a Member of the Executive Committee at Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) since January 2021 and Chairman of the Ports, Passenger Ship and Cruise Tourism Committee at the Cyprus Shipping Chamber since June 2023, Chris has also held key leadership roles at Celestyal Cruises since October 2014, where responsibilities include oversight of commercial activities, business development initiatives, and strategic fleet development projects. Prior to these roles, Chris was VP of Strategy & Business Development at Louis Cruise Lines and held a Senior Manager position in Corporate Finance & Transaction Services at PwC Cyprus. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Accounting and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University.
