Tushar Wali is an experienced professional in disaster risk management and disability inclusion, currently serving as the Disaster Risk Management Director and Senior Advisor DRR at CBM Global Disability Inclusion since September 2022. Prior roles at CBM from November 2012 to September 2022 included Program Manager for the Emergency Response Unit, where Tushar focused on promoting Disability Inclusive Emergency Response and building partnerships with international NGOs. Tushar's experience also encompasses leadership positions at Handicap International, including Country Director for Bangladesh and Deputy Country Director for Indonesia. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a Postgraduate Certificate in Disability Studies from Queen's University, and a degree from Srinivas College of Physiotherapy, India.
