Tala Alahmar is an experienced professional currently serving as an intern at the United States Department of Defense and as a Success Coach with Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International. Tala has held various roles at the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation as both a Graduate Scholar and an Undergraduate Transfer Scholar since May 2021, while also working as a research assistant at Georgetown University, leading a project focused on using Artificial Intelligence to analyze electoral risks. Prior experience includes roles such as Transfer Bridge Fellow at optiMize, Transfer Student Ambassador at the University of Michigan, and Field Organizer for the Michigan Democratic Party. Tala holds a Master of Arts in Democracy and Governance from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of Michigan, along with an Associate of Arts degree from Oakland Community College. Additional international academic experience includes studies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
