Julie Simmons P.Eng has a diverse career history, primarily working for Cavendish Farms and Cavendish Produce. Julie started their career with Cavendish Farms in 2003 as a Production Manager before transitioning to roles such as Process Improvement Manager, Supply Chain Planning Manager, and Customer Service Manager. Julie eventually became the Process Engineering Manager, overseeing process engineering and quality assurance. In 2021, they were promoted to the role of Director of Process Engineering and QA. In 2012, Julie joined Cavendish Produce as the Plant Manager, where they worked until 2015.

Julie Simmons P.Eng completed their education in 2003 at Dalhousie University, where they pursued a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Engineering.
