William (Bill) Schaffroth is an experienced executive at Caterpillar Inc., currently serving as Vice President of Transformation in the Product Support & Logistics Division since January 2020. Prior to this role, Bill served as Vice President for Wear Components, overseeing global business operations for aftermarket and original equipment manufacturing. With a career at Caterpillar that began in 1996, Bill has held multiple leadership positions including Global MHE and STTT Product Manager, Global MHE Business Manager, and Sales, Marketing, and Retail Development Manager. Bill’s educational background includes an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BSME from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
