Ivan Friedman has held various software engineering roles since 2014. Ivan began their career as an Emergency Department Technician at Alameda Health System in 2014. In 2015, they were a Software Engineer, Contractor at Cisco. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Frontend Software Developer at Universal Healthcare (Pty) Ltd. and is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Carrum Health.

Ivan Friedman attended Cornell University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. In 2015, they attended App Academy to pursue a course in Computer Software Engineering.
