Shahar Laks, MD, currently serves as a Resident Physician at Carolinas HealthCare System since May 2023. Previously, Shahar Laks was a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant and an M.D. Candidate at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University from July 2019 to May 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica from May 2017 to May 2020, where responsibilities included documenting patient encounters in the emergency department. Additional roles include a Research Assistant position at Sackler School of Medicine in 2018 and internships at The Pediatric Place, PC, and Northside Hospital, where Shahar Laks gained valuable exposure to clinical environments and patient care. Academic qualifications include a Bachelorā€™s Degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies with a focus on Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University.
