Jared Clever is a seasoned professional in the field of virology and gene delivery technology, currently serving as Director of Gene Delivery Technology Development at CARGO Therapeutics since May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Director of Vector Development at Cero Therapeutics and Senior Scientist II at Kite Pharma, where Jared was the program lead for the SynNotch Technology Development Group and managed R&D Vector Core Laboratories. Additional experience encompasses positions as Senior Scientist at Cell Design Labs, Director of Research and Development at ImmunoScience, Inc., and Assistant Professor at UT Health San Antonio. Educational credentials include a Post-doctoral Fellowship in Virology from the University of California, San Francisco, a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology/Virology from UCLA, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
