Iain Davis is a Principal Software Engineer at CARFAX, where since September 2013, Iain has focused on building, maintaining, and refactoring customer-facing web applications and enterprise RESTful service APIs using an Agile, Test Driven approach. Prior to this role, Iain owned and operated Something Electronic?, an independent contracting business specializing in in-home desktop support from April 1993 to September 2013. Additionally, Iain worked as a Computer Specialist at the University of Missouri from November 2004 to June 2005, where an application was developed to transfer data between a veterinary medicine dispensary machine and the clinical database using HL7 messages and Pro*C embedded SQL. Iain holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Columbia College, obtained between 2006 and 2010, and a Certificate in Electronics from Dallas County Vocational Technical School, completed from 1989 to 1991.
