Salah Hamwi is currently working as the Assistant Country Director - Programs at CARE, where Salah is responsible for designing, implementing, and ensuring the quality of CARE Yemen Programs. Salah has also held various leadership roles within CARE, including Acting Country Director in Yemen. Salah has extensive experience in program management, humanitarian response, and strategic planning, with a strong focus on gender equality and innovative program approaches. Prior to CARE, Salah worked as a Senior Program Officer at Mercy Corps. Salah holds a Master's degree in Conflict, Peace, and Security from United Nations Institute for Training and Research.
