Kaetyng Chen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
From 2014 to 2014, they worked as a Student Caller at the Cal Calling Center, where they built relationships with Cal Alumni and conducted fundraising for various programs on the UC Berkeley campus.
In 2015, they joined UC Berkeley's Educational Technology Services as a Junior Analyst, providing technical support to over 2,800 clients and specializing in supporting faculty in their use of the learning management system, Canvas. Kaetyng later became a Program Manager, working in both the Helpdesk for Online Services and the Academic Innovation Studio.
Kaetyng then expanded their skill set by taking on the role of an Undergraduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley's Rausser College of Natural Resources. In this position, they taught a course on Food Security and Wellness, addressing students' concerns, promoting safe cooking practices, and educating them on nutrition and budgeting.
Most recently, they worked at Carbon, starting in 2017. Kaetyng began as a Technical Support Specialist, where they established and maintained the Customer Success team's knowledge base, developed a new hire training program, and resolved customer issues. Kaetyng then progressed to become a Sales Operations Specialist and eventually a Senior Sales Operations Specialist II.
Throughout their career, Kaetyng has demonstrated their ability to adapt to different environments, support customers and clients, and effectively manage programs and projects.
Kaetyng Chen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences (Dietetics) from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition, they obtained a certification in ServSafe: Food Protection Manager from the Food Protection Manager Certification in February 2016.
