Lucie Chupin has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry and research. Lucie is currently working at Carbon Waters since 2021, where they hold the position of Project & Safety Manager for Polymer and Composites. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2020, Lucie worked at Solvay as a Chemist specializing in the development of thermoset composite products, with a focus on epoxy and vinyl ester resins. Lucie also has teaching and research experience, having worked as a Teaching and Research Attach¨¦ at the Universit¨¦ du Havre from 2017 to 2018, where they focused on the impact of fragrance compounds on the stability of emulsions. Before that, Lucie worked as a Teaching and Research Attach¨¦ at the Universit¨¦ de Bourgogne from 2016 to 2017, where they were involved in the synthesis of glycerol monodecanoate. Lucie's earliest work experience was as a PhD student in Polymer Chemistry at the Universit¨¦ de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour from 2011 to 2014, where they worked on the extraction of Maritime Pine bark tannins and the formulation of thermosetting adhesives. Throughout their career, Lucie has gained expertise in various areas, including formulation, characterization, and synthesis of polymers and composites.

Lucie Chupin's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Material Sciences and Chemistry, which they obtained from the Universit¨¦ Paris-Est Cr¨¦teil (UPEC) in 2009. Lucie then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Sciences and Environmental Engineering at the same university, which they completed in 2010. Following that, Lucie attended the Universit¨¦ Paris-Est Cr¨¦teil (UPEC) again for their Master 2 degree in Materials Sciences, which they finished in 2011. Finally, they obtained a Doctorate degree in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Pau and Adour Countries in 2014.
