Dina Ghobrial has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Dina founded and served as CEO of Halo Ai starting in 2020. Dina also worked as a Fellow at On Deck from 2021 onwards. Prior to these roles, they held positions at Coupa Software, where they worked as Chief Procurement Officer, leading global procurement operations and implementing strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management frameworks. Dina was also an Advisory Board Member at Sourcing Industry Group and Gartner. Before joining Coupa Software, Dina worked at Scotiabank from 1996 to 2018, holding several leadership positions including Vice President of Information Technology Sourcing and Head of Supplier Risk Management. Dina was responsible for defining and executing global procurement and demand management strategies, achieving cost reductions, mitigating third-party supplier risk, and improving service levels. Dina has also worked at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP as a Systems Support specialist and at USAID as an Engineering Coordinator. Dina has a strong background in technology, project management, and user experience.

Dina Ghobrial obtained an Executive Certification in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT Sloan School of Management in the year 2020. Dina also holds an HON BA degree in Economics & Computer Science from The American University in Cairo, which they completed between 1982 and 1986.
