Md. Jawed Ahmed serves as the Chief Information Officer at Captain Steel India Ltd since February 2021. Prior to this role, Md. Jawed held positions as GM and Head of IT at Spencer'S Retail Limited and Nature's Basket Ltd from November 2017 to February 2021, and as General Manager and Group IT Head at Omniactive Health Tech & Kancor Ingredients Limited from January 2012 to November 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing IT functions for the group. Earlier career experience includes serving as Head of IT for the Power Transmission Business at Sterlite Technologies, leading information systems at Adani Wilmar Ltd, and working in IT infrastructure at GCMMF Limited. Md. Jawed holds a PGDRM in Rural Management and Information Systems from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand, and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Utkal University.
