Ramdas Gidugu has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Ramdas started their career in 1986 at Capitol Hospital, where they served for 25 years as the Director of Neurosciences and Director of Spine. During their tenure, they gained significant experience in neurotrauma and field surgery, working at various prestigious apex tertiary care centers of the Armed Forces Medical Services. Ramdas also served as teaching faculty for general surgery and neurosurgery for a total of 14 years.
Subsequently, Ramdas Gidugu held positions as the Director of Neurosurgery at AKFA Medline Hospital in Uzbekistan and as the Director of Neurosurgery and Spine at La Hopital Cinquantenaire in Congo. Ramdas also worked as a Professor at MAharshi Markandeswar Medical University in India. Additionally, they served as the Director of Neurosurgery and Spine at Gurunanak Dev Multi Speciality Hospital in Punjab and Sarvodaya Hospitals and Research Centre in Faridabad.
Ramdas'smost recent role was as a Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery and Neurospine at Fortis Hospitals in Vasant Kunj, Jessaram, and Noida. Currently, Ramdas Gidugu is working as a Neurosurgeon at Prof Med Service.
Ramdas Gidugu pursued their education in a chronological order. Ramdas completed their primary and secondary education at Govt school Malakpet and Swami Vivekananda School Moosaram Bagh in Hyderabad from 1969 to 1975. Following this, from 1975 to 1978, they attended Aggarwal Junior College in Charkaman Hyderabad to complete their Intermediate education. In 1978, they enrolled in Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, where they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, which they completed in 1984. Continuing their medical studies, Ramdas Gidugu joined Armed Forces Medical College in 1990 and completed their MS in General Surgery through the General Surgery Residency Program in 1991. Lastly, they pursued a Neurosurgery residency program at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences from 1999 to 2002, earning an MCh (Neurosurgery) degree.
