Johan Wadelius is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and technology leadership. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and R&D Director of Mechanical Engineering at Candela since November 2021, Johan previously held the position of Director of Hardware & Quality at Zound Industries, where responsibilities included talent development and overseeing the engineering processes. Prior to that, Johan spent nearly a decade at Electrolux, where roles included R&D Manager and Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager, focusing on R&D coordination, budget management, and technical specifications. Johan's career began with design engineering roles at companies such as Etteplan, Epsilon High-Tech, and Breis & Co, where expertise in CAD design and project engineering was developed.
