Dr. Athira Varghese is a healthcare professional with extensive experience in pharmacy and public health. Currently serving as a Senior Coordinator and Project Coordinator at Cancer Council Queensland since April 2022, Dr. Varghese has also worked as a Pharmacy Assistant at Chemist Warehouse since March 2021 and held the position of Program Officer at PFLAG Australia from January 2021 to January 2022. Previous roles include Pharmacy Assistant at Chempro Chemists and Project Support Officer at the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland. Dr. Varghese's clinical expertise was established during tenures as a Clinical Pharmacist at Ernakulam District Hospital and BVVs S. Nijalingappa Medical. Academically, Dr. Varghese holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Rajeev Gandhi College in India and a Master's degree in Public Health from the Queensland University of Technology.
