Richard Margiotta has extensive experience in the field of civil engineering, currently serving as Principal at Cambridge Systematics since May 1998. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Senior Transportation Engineer at SAIC from June 1987 to May 1998 and as a Research Associate at the Transportation Research Board - National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine from April 1984 to June 1987. Richard earned a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1995, and also holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the same institution, completed in 1981. Additionally, Richard obtained a B.S. in Biology from the University at Albany in 1978.
