Michael Costa is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the SUUV Software Lead at HII Unmanned Systems since September 2022. With a focus on underwater autonomous vehicles, Costa has held the position of AUV Software Engineer at HII Technical Solutions since March 2019. Prior roles include Systems/Automation Engineer at Mueller Systems, Software Engineer at Raytheon, and Systems Analyst at Mueller Systems. Costa’s career began as Crew Chief at Poyant Signs. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from UMass Dartmouth and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Bristol Community College.
