Arthur Avery has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and companies. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Analyst at CALIBRE Systems, where they provided transitional support to veterans through the Veteran Opportunity to Work (VOW) Hire Heroes Act. In this role, they conducted weekly trainings and facilitated workshops to help transitioning service members and veterans successfully reintegrate into the civilian sector using their VA benefits.
In 2017, Arthur joined SWEG, USAJFKSWCS, USASOC as an Education Services Specialist. Here, they provided student support services and counseling to Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) soldiers, aiding them in reaching their educational goals through Tuition Assistance (TA) programs. Arthur also educated ARSOF soldiers on available voluntary education programs, opportunities, and financial assistance.
Most recently, Arthur works at Womack Army Medical Center as a Clinical Systems Trainer since April 2019. In this role, they conduct training sessions related to the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and Clini Comp for personnel at the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). Arthur is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing these training sessions.
Arthur Avery completed their Master's Degree in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching at Central Michigan University from 2002 to 2005.
