EL-Sayed Shaaban is a seasoned mechanical engineer with over 26 years of experience in power generation, specializing in gas turbine, steam turbine, boiler, and HRSG operation and maintenance. Currently serving as the Technical Affairs Manager at Cairo Electricity Production Company since January 2019, responsibilities include supervising staff and overseeing the execution of operating orders and maintenance programs. Previously, EL-Sayed worked as a Senior Engineer at Saudi Electricity Company, where duties encompassed corrective and preventive maintenance, alongside a role as Senior Training Engineer. Past experience also includes significant positions at Siemens as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and at SOGEX Oman Co. L.L.C. as Training Officer/Operation Manager. EL-Sayed holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Power Engineering from Zagazig University and multiple certificates from Westinghouse Electric Corporation in various power plant control and maintenance courses.
