Ty Grewell has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. In 2016, Ty worked as a Lifeguard at Nomad Aquatics & Fitness for almost two years. In 2019, Ty took on the role of Interpreter at the Northern Tier National High Adventure Base. This position involved leading Scouts on wilderness trips and ensuring their safety and satisfaction. From 2020 to 2021, Ty worked at North Carolina State University as a Research Assistant and briefly as a Talley Market Associate. In 2021, Ty joined bioMérieux as a Quality Engineering intern, gaining knowledge on manufacturing procedures, regulatory logistics, and auditing strategies. Currently, Ty is a Validation Engineer at CAI, starting in 2022.

Ty Grewell attended Cox Mill High School from 2013 to 2017, but did not receive a degree or specialize in a particular field of study during this time. From 2018 to 2021, Ty attended North Carolina State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. During this period, Ty focused on studying Biotechnology (BIT) and Biomanufacturing (BTEC).
