Nelson Luk's work experience starts in 2009 as a Therapeutic Riding Volunteer for the Richmond Therapeutic Equestrian Society. From there, they were a Teaching Assistant Volunteer at Vancouver Christian School in 2011. In 2012, they served as a Data Entry and Information Processing Worker at George Ford Sun Chartered Accountants and as a Public Health Research Intern at the Centre of Excellence for Research in AIDS, University of Malaya. Nelson then became an Out of School Care Staff at Crown Street Kids Club Society for a few months before volunteering as a Research Assistant for BC Women's Hospital Foundation and CFRI, University of British Columbia, Canada. From 2015 to 2018, Nelson worked as an Administrative Assistant at BC Cancer Agency. Their most recent role is as a Business Operations Coordinator at Caffe Umbria Inc., starting in 2018. In this role, they are responsible for various tasks such as generating revenue, performing accounting duties, coordinating shipping and delivery of goods, handling customer orders, supporting sales activities, managing a training academy, and conducting warehouse activities.
Nelson Luk pursued their Bachelor of General Science from 2006 to 2011 at The University of British Columbia, specializing in the field of Life Sciences.
