James Westwood has extensive experience in the web development industry. James began their career in 2005 as a Web Co-Ordinator at Simpson Grierson. James then moved to Power Creations in 2007 as a Web Developer. In 2008, they became a Lead Web Designer at iSite Interactive. In 2010, they were a Front End Developer at Snow Valley. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Senior Front End Developer at Freelancer.com and then a Front End Development Team Lead at the same company. In 2018, they joined PwC as a Senior Front End Developer, developing internal banking applications using React and Typescript at Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited. This was initially a 6 month contract, which was extended to 2 1/2 years. In 2021, they became a Senior Front End Engineer at Butternut Box. Prior to this, they were a Front end developer / Game developer at AUTOTELIC LIMITED from 2016.

James Westwood completed a Diploma of Digital Media from the Media Design School in 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the Auckland University of Technology between 2000-2002, with a field of study in Multimedia.
