Brian Martinson has a diverse work experience. From 2004 to 2008, they were a Youth Baseball Umpire for West Madison Little League and an Instructor for Madison Metro Baseball. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Software Engineer for McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research, where they designed and implemented a proprietary database management and shopping system. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Developer for Schematical, where they developed and deployed Facebook applications. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Software Developer and R&D Team Lead for Epic, where they managed a group of three developers and applied programming skills to help design and develop systems. Since 2014, they have been the Director of Engineering and Senior Software Engineer for TreeRing, where they are the primary owner of the flagship product's codebase, the primary architect and author of the page editor/publisher module, and manages day-to-day developer operations.
Brian Martinson received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from James Madison Memorial High School in 2008.
