Thomas Labourdette has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and business fields. In 2014, they were the Electronics and Control Systems Lead for McGill Formula Electric, where they designed custom PCBs, built a reflow oven, and conducted system integration testing for competition. In 2015, they worked as a Business Analyst Intern for Usablenet. In 2016, they were an Engineering Intern for LRN, where they worked on next generation course offerings and implemented proof of concepts on Slack of AI Chatbots. In 2017, they were a Product Intern for Delos. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Quadlogic Controls Corp. as an Electrical Engineer and Engineer, R&D/Technical Support. In 2021 and 2022, they worked at Ericsson as an R&D Intern and MSc. Thesis, respectively. Finally, in 2022 they will begin working as a Robotics Engineer for Built Robotics.
Thomas Labourdette began their educational journey at Hunter College Elementary School from 2000 to 2007. Thomas then attended Hunter College High School from 2007 to 2008. Afterwards, they attended The Bronx High School of Science from 2009 to 2013, where they earned their high school diploma. Following this, they attended McGill University from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Software Engineering. Most recently, they are currently enrolled in KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they are pursuing a Master of Science in Systems, Control and Robotics. Additionally, Thomas Labourdette holds a PADI Open Water Diver certification from PADI.
