Zachary Josefson has a range of work experience in different industries. In 2016, they worked as an intern at Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger's District Office where they handled calls, wrote administrative letters, and assisted with casework. In 2021, they interned as a Construction Intern at HITT Contracting Inc., where they reviewed and distributed project documents, identified and corrected punch list items, and marked up technical drawings. In 2022, they worked as a Field Application Engineer Intern at Renesas Electronics, conducting testing on DC-DC converters, running circuit simulations, and familiarizing himself with digital power devices. Currently, starting in 2023, they are employed as an Electrical Engineer at Genesis Engineering Solutions, Inc.

Zachary Josefson attended the University of Maryland from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they also earned certifications in 10-hour Construction Safety and Health from OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training in June 2021, as well as Procore Certified: Project Manager in Project Management from Procore Technologies in June 2021.
