Helena L. has a diverse work experience in the cybersecurity and software engineering fields. Helena currently works at Nubank as a Threat Detection Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Security Researcher at Bugcrowd and HackerOne. Helena also worked as a CTF Player at TryHackMe. Helena has prior experience as a Security Engineer at Grupo Recovery, where they were responsible for testing security controls, providing remediation recommendations, and collaborating with defensive and infrastructure teams. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at Grupo Recovery and Esfera Informática. At Esfera Informática, they worked as a Software Quality Assurance Tester. Overall, Helena has built a strong foundation in cybersecurity and software engineering through their varied roles and experiences.

Helena L. began their education history in 2019 when they obtained the TOEFL ITP certification from The TOEFL® test. In 2020, they acquired the IT Security: Defense against the digital dark arts certification from Google and the 100w Cybersecurity Practices for Industrial Control Systems certification from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

Additionally, they pursued the Secure Coding Practices Specialization degree from the University of California, Davis in 2022 and 2023.

Lastly, in 2023, Helena obtained the Certified AppSec Practitioner (CAP) certification from The SecOps Group, further enhancing their expertise in the field of computer security. Previously, they had obtained the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2022.
