Jeremy Powell is an accomplished music educator and instrumentalist with extensive experience in teaching and sound engineering. Since January 2016, Jeremy has been instructing clarinet and flute classes for 4th and 5th graders through the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music's Music Partners outreach program. Concurrently, Jeremy serves as a sound engineer at Zinc Bar, managing live sound for various bands. With a robust background in private instruction, Jeremy offers lessons in saxophone, clarinet, piano, improvisation, theory, and composition, while also performing as a freelance musician across the Tri-State NYC area and internationally. Jeremy holds a Master's degree in Jazz Composition from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance from The New School.
