Reed Whitman is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in treasury and risk management. Currently serving as Treasurer at Brookline Bancorp Inc since February 2012, Reed founded the treasury group and has developed comprehensive asset liability management and interest rate risk processes. Key responsibilities include leading M&A activities, managing multiple investment and funding portfolios totaling $3 billion, and overseeing the company's liquidity position. Previous roles include Director of Treasury at State Street and various positions in risk management and financial analysis. Reed holds an MBA in Finance from the Questrom School of Business, Boston University, and a BA in Economics from Trinity College-Hartford. Additionally, Reed has a background in classics from Hotchkiss.
