Matthew Medal has worked for three companies in the past. From 2018 to present, they have been employed at Brightwheel as a Principal Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer. From 2012 to 2018, they were employed at eBay Inc as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. From 2010 to 2012, they worked at Bellarmine College Preparatory as an IT Technician.

Matthew Medal attended Bellarmine College Preparatory and Santa Clara University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
