Rhys Causey is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Principal Software Developer at D2L since April 2011, Rhys has held various roles including Senior Software Developer and Architect for Webcasting Products. Prior to D2L, Rhys co-founded Captual Technologies Inc, where the role of Chief Technology Officer was undertaken, leading software development until the company's acquisition by Desire2Learn Incorporated. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Software/Usability Engineer at the Knowledge Media Design Institute and as a Software Engineer at NTT. Rhys holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, completed in 2008.
