Ahmed Fawzy has a strong background in embedded systems engineering and software testing. Ahmed started their career at Valeo in 2010, where they held various roles including Senior Software Test Engineer and Principal Software Test Engineer. In these positions, they were responsible for testing and analyzing software requirements for automotive projects and leading teams of testing engineers. During their time at Valeo, they also served as the Function Owner for various projects, including Communications and Network Management for Volkswagen and Diagnostics for Valeo's LiDAR SCALA. In 2019, Ahmed joined Brightskies as the Chief Embedded Systems Engineer, where they defined the complete process, methods, and tools for ASPICE SWE 4 and SWE 6. Throughout their career, Ahmed has gained expertise in testing driving assistance and active safety systems, as well as designing and executing tests for various automotive technologies.
Ahmed Fawzy received their Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Electrical Communications from Cairo University, completing their studies from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Sensor Fusion Nano Degree from Udacity in February 2020. Ahmed also achieved the ISTQB® Advanced Level Certified Test Analyst certification in May 2014, although the institution providing the certification is not specified.
