Malte Funk-Sheppard, CIA, currently serves as the Director of Internal Controls at Bridger Aerospace, where responsibilities include implementing a risk-based control environment for a newly public company, conducting annual controls testing, and coordinating external audits. Prior experience includes leading the Internal Audit and SOX Compliance function at US Ecology, Inc., where Malte initiated the internal audit process and managed SOX assessments for acquisitions. At TechnipFMC, as Director of Internal Control for the Western Hemisphere, Malte focused on enhancing internal controls and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Malte's career began with significant roles at Technip, Sanders Consulting, Calvetti, Ferguson & Wagner, P.C., PwC, and an early internship at Merrill Lynch. Malte holds an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Freie Universität Berlin.
