Brett Austin, P.E. has work experience as a Director of Technology at Argus Consulting, Inc. starting from February 2017. Brett was also a Senior Electrical Engineer at Burns & McDonnell from January 2016 to January 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Argus Consulting, Inc. from June 2008 to December 2015. During this time, they were responsible for designing electrical systems for commercial and military petroleum fueling facilities worldwide, as well as developing and maintaining CAD standards and in-house software.
Brett Austin, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2003 to 2008. During the same period, they also earned another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution.
In terms of additional certifications, Brett obtained the OSHA Fall Protection certification from OSHA in October 2017. Brett received their Registered Professional Engineer - TN certification from the Tenneesee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners in August 2014. Additionally, they obtained the Registered Professional Engineer - NCEES certification from NCEES in February 2014 and the Registered Professional Engineer - MO certification from the Missouri Board for Architects, Professional in June 2013. In October 2008, Brett received the Confined Space Training certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and in July 2006, they obtained the OSHA 10-Hour certification.
