David Scott is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical fields, currently serving as Vice President of Development at BridgeBio since June 2018, following roles as Senior Director and Director of Nonclinical Pharmacology and Toxicology. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Spyryx Biosciences as Head of Biology and Senior Principal Scientist, as well as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. David's foundational experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and as a Scientist at HemoShear Therapeutics. David holds a PhD in Pathology/Experimental Pathology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, alongside a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
