Jim Larimore currently serves as a board member for the Institute for Higher Education Policy, Matriculate, The NROC Project, and the Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity, and co-founder and chair of the EdSAFE AI Alliance since late 2022. Previously, Jim Larimore was the Chief Officer for Equity in Learning at Riiid Labs, leading strategies to enhance educational equity using AI, and served as Chief Officer at ACT, directing efforts to address gaps in educational opportunity and achievement. Other roles include Dean of Students at Amherst College, Deputy Director for PostSecondary Success at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Associate Vice Chancellor for Campus Life & Dean of Students at New York University Abu Dhabi. Jim Larimore holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Education from Stanford University and a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from East Texas A&M University.
