Laura Cooley Johnson is the chief people officer at Bose, overseeing the company’s global human resources function, including talent acquisition, talent management, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and internal communications.
Laura has fond memories of her Wave radio, the first Bose product she ever purchased. At a time when she didn’t have a full home stereo setup, the Wave radio made all of her CDs sound amazing.
Laura joined Bose in 2022 with over 20 years of experience. Previously, Laura was the senior vice president of Corporate HR for TJX Companies in Framingham, MA. At TJX, she led a team of HR professionals providing support to numerous corporate functions in the U.S. and internationally. Prior to TJX, Laura managed HR for Henkel’s North America. She also led HR for General Mills Europe. In addition, Laura serves as the vice president of the Alumni Board for Harvard Student Agencies (HSA), is a member of the Board of Directors for HSA’s The Harvard Shop, and serves as a Board of Trustees member for the Fenn School in Concord, MA.
Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in German language and literature from Harvard University and an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University.
