Ts. Ching Wai Yong, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Data Scientist at Boost Credit, a position held since April 2022. Previously, Ts. Ching Wai Yong worked at PLUS Malaysia as a Strategic Data Modelling professional from November 2020 to March 2022, and at AirAsia BIG Loyalty as a Data Scientist from March 2019 to November 2020. Ts. Ching Wai Yong also held the role of Machine Learning Scientist at Glueck Technologies, focusing on optimized algorithms for computer vision applications between February 2018 and March 2019. Earlier experience includes a Data Scientist Track Trainee position at ASEAN Data Analytics Exchange for two months in late 2017 and an internship at Inje University, South Korea, involving research at the Radiation Imaging and Medical Ultrasound laboratories. Ts. Ching Wai Yong earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Malaya (2016-2021) after obtaining a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution (2011-2015).
