Elena J. is currently the Head of Internal Involvement for JumboHack at Tufts JumboCode, where responsibilities include organizing the 2025 Tufts University Computer Science hackathon. Additionally, Elena J. serves as a Break Through Tech AI Scholar at MIT Schwarzman College of Computing, selected from over 3000 candidates to engage in real-world AI projects. Previous roles include CREATE Coordinator at Tufts University and Junior Researcher at The New York Academy of Sciences. Academic experience includes serving as a Senior Cadet for the 700 David Hornell V.C Squadron and mentoring in engineering outreach at the University of Toronto. Educationally, Elena J. is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, respectively, accompanied by an OSSD in Contemporary Arts from Etobicoke School of the Arts.
