Tola Marts is an accomplished engineering leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering for the New Shepard program at Blue Origin since June 2022. Marts has a strong background in engineering management, having held positions such as Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer at Tethers Unlimited, Inc., and Engineering Manager at Intellectual Ventures, where a focus on global health initiatives was emphasized. Additionally, Marts has been a Council Member for the City of Issaquah since 2009, advocating for a sustainable city that balances natural preservation with intelligent growth and community services.
