Jon Wakamatsu is a Network Support Specialist at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming since July 2023, previously working as an HP Field Service Technician at TEKsystems for two months. With a diverse background in emergency response, mechanical work, and maintenance, Jon served at HollyFrontier Corporation in various roles, including Emergency Responder, Pump Mechanic and Machinist, and Safety Rover from May 2012 to October 2021. Prior experience includes positions at Wyoming Ethanol LLC as a Cook and Distillation Operator and Maintenance Technician from May 2005 to April 2012. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University, expected to complete in August 2024, and an Associate of Applied Science in Welding and Joining Technology from Eastern Wyoming College, completed in 2005. Jon's educational journey began with general studies at Evanston High School, graduating in 2000.
